How to make your own PSP Brushes

Open an image 255 x 255 with a transparent background and flood fill it with white. Add your tube (ready resized to fit) to this layer. Click Selections/Select All. Now choose the paintbrush tool

from the tools menu.In the Tool Options window click the Brush Types button.

In the Drop Down menu choose Custom.

Another window will open, click Create and you will see your brush appear in the preview window.

Here is an example of a tube turned into a brush.

Pretty easy huh, lol! You can use this method for most images you'd like to use as a Custom Brush. If you are using Paint Shop Pro 9, the method is slightly different if you should want to load all of your PSP7 Brushes into the program.

Go to File then click on Import. The following dropdown menu will appear:

Go to the Open box at the top left and find the brushes you wish to import into PSP9.

Once you find the Brush you wish to import or even all of them, click on the 'Add All' button and voila!

Once you next open your PSP9 you'll find all the brushes you imported there :)
